Mr. Head’s Art Gallery and Bar
513 North 4th Avenue
An art gallery and bar, Mr. Head’s is a unique hangout on 4th Avenue. This bar always seems to be filled with cool people and has a great local focus. Mr. Head’s isn’t a hard place to locate; it’s in between Dairy Queen and it’s sister business Fathead Glass. The building itself is decorated with graffiti art and has a person with a large head painted on it.
When you walk inside Mr. Head’s, you’ll notice creative artwork on the walls, modern tables and chairs and a full bar. There is also an outdoor patio and umbrellas where you can sit outside and watch the 4th Avenue crew walk by or listen to often booked live DJs, comedians and trivia events.
Connected inside the building a second business by the same owner is a custom glass blowing studio. Beautiful glass pieces can be custom made here.
Throughout the week, they have different drink specials. Don’t forget, you can also buy some of the cool artwork displayed on their brick walls. During the evening, the bar does fill up pretty quickly and often they have live bands playing outside and karaoke.
Feeling hungry? You don’t have to leave the bar to grab a bite. You can order food from the restaurant Delectable’s, World Wide Wrappers or Brooklyn Pizza and Mr. Heads won’t care if you bring outside food into their bar.
Artwork, live music, great beers, food and even the intense cutthroat karaoke, Mr. Head’s always have something going on for a fun night.
