Cafe Zope Has Closed – Now Cafe Marcel
344 N 4th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85705
Besides the fun nightlife on 4th Avenue, there are also some places to check out during a nice sunny Tucson day. If you’re looking for a bite to eat early morning, check out Café Zope. It’s one of my favorite food treasures located on 4th avenue, right next to Che’s Lounge.
It’s a cute little breakfast spot that serves crepes, espressos, sandwiches and lots more. When you walk inside the place, you notice their artsy, sophisticated vibe. The walls are mainly brick with wood flooring and you see little tables outside in the front and inside. They also have a nice back patio, so you can sit back and enjoy your meal in the sun!
Like I said before, the crepes come many different ways. You can get them like a pancake, filled with whipped cream and strawberries or blueberries. If you’re feeling an omelet, they can make your crepe omelet style stuffed with anything you want.
My favorite dish to order at Café Zope is their salmon rolls. Imagine a light, wheat, tortilla stuffed with fresh salmon and spinach. Then they drizzle a delightful cream sauce over it. Yum! And so addicting!
Café Zope’s prices are affordable and the staff is really friendly. Besides breakfast and lunch, they also have art gallery openings and live performances, such as open mike and poetry readings. Their hour’s change depending on the seasons, so their summer hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily and Friday-Saturday they are open till 10 p.m.
So, whether you’re in the mood for crepe omelets, salmon rolls, sandwiches or a cup of coffee while having poetry read to you check out Café Zope and enjoy!
