Café Marcel Creperie & Espresso Bar
344 N 4th Avenue, Tucson AZ 85705
THIS BUSINESS HAS MOVED TO GRANT. NOW SANDWTICH PLACE,
MAYBE CALLED LATIN IT UP?
Besides the fun nightlife on 4th Avenue, there are also some places to check out during a nice sunny Tucson day. If you’re looking for a bite to eat early morning, check out Café Marcel. It’s one of my favorite food treasures located on 4th avenue, right next to Che’s Lounge.
Formerly Café Zope, Café Marcel is a cute little breakfast spot that serves crepes, espresso, and croissants. When you walk inside the place, you notice their artsy, sophisticated vibe. The walls are mainly brick with wood flooring and you see little tables outside in the front and inside. They also have a nice back patio, so you can sit back and enjoy your meal in the sun!
Whether you’re looking for crepes filled with fresh fruits, creams and granola, or perhaps a savory crepe filled with roasted chicken, pesto, tomato, and spinach, they’re sure to have something to tickle your taste buds in just the right way.
Café Marcel’s prices are affordable and the staff is really friendly. Besides breakfast and lunch, they also have art gallery openings and live performances, such as open mike and poetry readings. Their hour’s change depending on the seasons, so their summer hours are 8AM-5PM daily.
So if you’re in the mood for a downright delicious crepe or croissant and an espresso, give Café Marcel a try. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
