Bison Witches Bar & Deli
326 N 4th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85705
If you’re looking for something tasty to eat, I suggest you try Bison Witches on 4th Avenue. Bison Witches offers giant, stuffed sandwiches, creamy bread bowl soups and even a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
Bison Witches is located on the left side of the 4th avenue strip and is right next to Rustic Candle Company. While Bison Witches is a small restaurant, it has a big menu filled with good food and drinks, and hidden back patio. Because of the limited space, it can get packed pretty quickly, especially around lunch. A lessor known local’s secret is there is a good size patio area in the the back that moonlights as a trendy hole-in-the-wall bar.
I personally enjoy their many delicious bread bowl soups. Many have claimed that they enjoy their sandwiches, especially the pastrami sandwich, which is overflowing with meat and fixings.
Bison Witches is affordable and always gives you a big amount of food, so you don’t feel cheated by their prices. For smaller appetites, Bison Witches gives you the option to order half a sandwich and a bag of chips.
Bison Witches is open daily from 11a.m. to 1 a.m. so even after a night of drinking at one of 4th Ave’s many bars and lounges, you can swing by and grab a tasty sandwich. Vegetarian options are available as well.
Although Bison Witches started in Tucson, they have expanded to five different locations from Phoenix to Lincoln, Nebraska. So, wherever you happen to be check Bison Witches out, even if it’s just to look at their menu, and you’ll leave with a full stomach!
